“For 56 years, Long Beach City College has been my life’s work. I would not be stepping down if I were not confident in who should carry that work forward. Susana Gonzalez Edmond has the experience, integrity, and judgment Area 5 deserves. I trust her to protect what we have built, strengthen it for the future, and serve our students with the care and commitment they deserve.”
