Susana Edmond is a longtime education advocate, community leader, and parent who has spent more than two decades working to expand opportunity for students and families.

Her experience spans higher education policy and grassroots parent leadership from advocating before the California State Legislature and CSU Board of Trustees on student access and success to serving as President of the Long Beach Council PTA.

A community college graduate herself and a proud Long Beach public school parent, Susana brings both policy experience and a parent’s perspective to her commitment to ensuring every student has the support, opportunities, and pathways they need to succeed.
